Laundry Film

Laundry film and garment bags are two forms of flexible plastics used in commercial laundries & dry cleaners. Laundry film is made from PVC and is often used with a heating pad to seal up wrapped laundry. Garment bags are made from Lower Density Polyethylene and are often used to cover and protect a variety of garments.

Produce / Freezer Bags

Typically made from polyethene or other plastic film, produce bags are used for the packaging of fruits and vegetables. They cannot be used when cooking as the thin plastic may melt or burn. Although it's safe to freeze food in them, the plastic is very thin and the food could get freezer burns.

While they often look and feel pretty similar to other plastic storage bags, freezer bags are slightly thicker than regular bags. This makes it into a storage bag that's sturdier and more durable and can keep food fresh for more extended periods of time.

A large bag designed to hold a number of smaller filled bags or boxes under little or no compression.

Zipper Bags

A zipper storage bag, slider storage bag, zipper bag, or zippie is an inexpensive flexible rectangular storage bag, usually mainly transparent, made of polyethene or similar plastic, which can be sealed and opened many times by a slider which works in a similar way to a zip fastener. The bags are made in many sizes; a typical small size is 3.8 cm × 6.4 cm, and a typical large size is 23 cm × 30 cm. Material thickness (gauge) varies.

Many such bags are used to contain foodstuffs, such as sandwiches and freezer storage. Single and multiple small items for sale are often packed in small zipper bags for convenience and visibility.

Cellophane Bags

Cellophane is a thin, transparent sheet made of regenerated cellulose. Its low permeability to air, oils, greases, bacteria, and water makes it useful for packaging of food.
